Oil and Gas Drill Bit Analysis

EnSight post processing of a drill bit fluid flow simulation. Here, EnSight 9.1's volume rendering capability is used to visualize the complete fluid domain at once, using the volume rendering function. This particular visualization is volume rendered using the velocity field. Therefore, areas with higher velocity are rendered as more opaque, and the flowfield with lower velocity as more transparent.
