ANSYS CFX takes advantage of data and information common to many simulations using solution technology with a coupled algebraic multi-grid solver and parallelization to help ensure that solutions are ready for analysis quickly and reliably. EnSight can directly read older format files (CFX4), as well as being able to directly read the current CFX5, CFX10, or CFX11 format result files (.res). In addition, users can export EnSight case files directly from within the CFX Solver. Both steady state and transient results from CFX can be viewed within EnSight.
