Collaborate and Communicate with Animation

 

Enliten is a 3D geometry viewer used to display, manipulate and analyze complex visualization scenarios generated by the EnSight suite of applications.  It requires no special software skills and runs on Windows, Unix, Linux and Macintosh computers.  EnLiten enables collaboration and communication of high-end visualizations for CFD, FEA, crash analysis, aerodynamics, scientific visualizations and other applications.

Flexible Scenarios
EnLiten imports EnSight Lite, EnSight, EnSight Gold and EnSight DR created scenario files containing 3D models with associated rich geometry.  These files can be configured to show only what the creator wants seen by others.

Visualization for the Entire Enterprise

Advanced features in EnLiten enable users to do the following:

• Add notes
• Output to AVI, EVO, JPEG, MPEG, PCL, PICT, PostScript, RGB, Targa, or TIFF.
• Easy-to-use controls for looping, cycling, changing playback speeds, and playing animation in forward or reverse.
• Link models and animation to presentation tools like PowerPoint.
• Use on a full range of computing and display systems, including 3D stereo.

• Control part attributes such as color, symmetry, and transparency.
• Make self-extracting bundles which embed scenario and other presentation files into a single executable.  These bundles can be executed directly on other systems without any CEI software installation.

• Access easy-to-use controls for looping, cycling, changing playback speeds, and playing animation in forward or reverse.
• Use models and animations in MS PowerPoint, MS Internet Explorer and Netscape.
• Use on a full range of computing and display systems, including3D stereo.
• Control part attributes such as color, symmetry, and transparency.
• Able to make self-extracting bundle on Windows to present to colleagues not already using EnLiten.  Nothing to install and no settings to change.
• Image formats removed: PICT, PCL, Targa
• Image formats added: PNG, BMP, GIF, QuickTime
