Biography

As President of CEI, Kent oversees the company's overall operation as well as its direction and strategy for growth. With 26 years of experience in high-performance computing, Kent has held previous positions in management as vice president for sales and marketing at CEI, managing director for Fluid Dynamics International's German office, and as manager of CFD applications at Cray Research. Kent began his career as a staff aerodynamicist with Dornier of Germany. He has earned a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Auburn University and a Diploma in Applied Fluid Dynamics from the Von Karman Institute in Brussels, Belgium. He has co-authored papers on computational aerodynamics, aerodynamic optimization, code optimization, mesh generation and computer graphics.
