Harpoon, our extreme mesher, has been very popular this year with CEI's customer base and why not?  Harpoon turns days and long hours usually required to create a useful mesh into an automatic process that takes minutes or even seconds. Harpoon takes our customers to new extremes in quality, simplicity, speed, flexibility, and reliability.

NASA Glenn will use Harpoon for optimizing the design of Stirling convertors, in conjunction with other tools such as isight, Fluent & STAR-CD.

Pennsylvania State University - Army Research Laboratory

This license of Harpoon is being used for a student's dissertation research involving developing a computational fluid dynamics model of different cell types interacting in a low Reynolds number shear flow. Harpoon's fast automatic mesh generation has enabled the student to employ a quasi-static technique in which a mesh is generated at every time step after the geometry of the system changes.
