Texture mapping in EnSight 8.2 & How to load multiple models PDF Print E-mail

Many of our clients have been asking about EnSight's ability to load multiple models at the same time so we created a tutorial to help you with this task.  Click here to view the tutorial.

As you all know, CEI just released a new version of EnSight last month, version 8.2.  If you were unsure whether or not you wanted to upgrade, take a look at one of our newest features, texture mapping, which allows you to read and apply 2D textures to any part.

Texture mapping

The color dialog in Part mode now has a button "Edit texture...." which brings up a dialog that allows you to read and apply 2D textures to any part.  Many options are available. Texture images are available from many places on the Internet, for example, http://astronomy.swin.edu.au/~pbourke/texture/.

To use textures simply select "Edit texture ..." from the part color dialog.
Selecting "Edit Texture.." will bring up the texture dialog, this includes 8 texture palettes from which to access frequently used textures.
